What This Tool Shows
Device Information collects the browser-visible details for the device you are using right now. It groups the results into browser, display, hardware, network, storage, and capability sections so you can quickly see what a website can detect without installing diagnostic software.
When It Helps
Use it when you need to debug responsive layouts, reproduce support tickets, compare browsers, confirm whether cookies or local storage are available, check display dimensions, or capture a compact JSON snapshot for a bug report. It is also useful before testing canvas, WebGL, clipboard, service worker, or storage-dependent features.
Privacy and Accuracy Notes
The tool runs entirely in your browser and does not upload the snapshot. Browsers deliberately hide or round some values, especially memory, CPU, GPU, network, and user-agent details. Missing values usually mean the browser does not expose that API, the page is not in a secure context, or a privacy setting blocked access.
How to Read the Results
Treat the data as the browser’s current view of your environment, not a guaranteed hardware inventory. Resize the window or rotate the device, then refresh the snapshot to update viewport, orientation, and display values. Use the JSON copy action when you need to share the exact observed values with a developer or support team.
